Things I do for some extra money.

Long story short, about a year ago I was opening a business with a company that just kept wanting more of my money, so in the end when I was getting out of it I had to get around 3,000 worth of merchandise because they wouldn't give me my money back but they would give me merchandise. So I plan on selling this merchandise on ebay and on craigslist. I am also a sub in the cafeteria where my daughter goes to school. Work there is very unsteady. I basically only work if people are sick or need a day off. I like being a home body so that I can bake and make my family meals that sometimes take more than 20 minutes but that are still budget friendly.

Today is my husbands last day at this company, it is kind of bittersweet. He has worked for them for about 19 years now. He isn't leaving because he doesn't like the job its more to do with the pay and the lack of health insurance. I am excited to see how quickly I can get all this debt paid off. Another thing that I like to do is enter for freebies and enter contests either instant or the ones that take months. It is so cool to win fun things!!!

Getting Ready!

My husband has 2 days left at his current job, then he will be going to another company. Finally after living pay check to pay check for about 10 years now we will finally be able to start digging our selves out of debt. I am excited to start this new adventure. I have been living frugally for a long time now. I follow newsletter such as The Stretcher and Living on a Dime and several other money saving blogs.

My plan is to be able to pay off 6,000.00 in credit card debt and 6,600.00 in vehicle loans and 45,000.00 on mortgage in less than 4 years and to save up for a new house or land. Plus be able to put 3 months of living expenses in the savings account.

If you have any money saving tips feel free to leave them in a comment I do enjoy hearing from others. Actually any kind of a comment to help me better my blog would be great.

Thank you for stopping by,
Amber
